WOBBLE HEAD, CHICK, Bass, 4-4-12, Bill
#1
Got out on Chick this morning at S/L, fished till around noon. Bass fishing is still tuff during the day light hours. We found some fish about 8:00am in 3 to 5 FOW. (water temp was 73). Caught 5 keepers and two slicks pretty quick on one certain color of rattle trap,a new color called bream or bluegill can't remember for sure but it's the only one I had. The reason I'm telling the color is, their changing so fast they will probably be hitting hot pink tommorow. We were fishing off of a long point sand bar. On the last fish I caught the ceramic insert on one eye busted and cut my line. I know the fish was hooked good because she came out of the water several times shaking my new 6.89$ lure at me, dragging about 30 yards of line behind her. Biggest fish today was 3 lbs 9 oz. ....Couldn't get another bite the rest of the day....All and all not a bad day but far from good.
