Dry Beds - Big Feeder by Ririe

I drove to IF from Boise last night and obviously it would snow all night and today. Has anyone been to the dry bed yet? I've never been up at the Snake when they shut it off, but should try that some time. I usually wait a week and do my fishing around the catwalk area, just curious if the water has dropped with the warm weather or if we have another week for the deepest holes.

I went and fished it on Monday. It had been picked off pretty good on Sunday from my understanding. I also don't think it is going to go all the way dry this year, at least in the upper section by the river. There is still a lot of water leaking out of the dam that I guess they can't close off. It is running around 25 CFS right now. You should still have plenty of time to go and catch some fish. I caught this brown throwing big streamers on Monday. We also caught a few smaller fish.

That is a nice looking fish. Sun seems to be coming out so I think I'll head out tomorrow and see how it looks down by Rigby.
