Strawberry Ice off

Wish there was a place that some good fishermen would let you know when the ice is starting to come off Strawberry. I hate learning about it from Adam whats his face on channel five. When you live in Ogden its a long way to drive just to check the ice. Not to mention the gas, so i won't. Missed the ice off again bummer

Don't worry, you haven't missed it. Adam got a call so they could be first to report it, but there isn't much open water. And this morning it was all re-frozen til about 2. I would bet With the coming warm spell mid week will be great.

Wouldn't ice of be different for all the different bays? I would think this is just a PRE ice off...LOL

Go early in the week, looks like a stormy cold front again starting on Thurs. I hate Spring!!

Not much snow, I hiked about a mile today all on solid ground,and I absolutly killed them today!!! The first spot I hiked to was still frosen so I just drove the lake until I found some open water 20ft but it worked!!! I guy just got their as I was leaving and naild three in ten minutes. Driving back some bays were half unthawed and were fully capped this morning.

Good my friend that might go had knee surgery 2 months ago and didnt know if he could walk on snow sounds like we are good to go!
