I have tired everything in my tacklebox, and in two weeks, i caught only 2 fish. One was maybe 2lbs the other wouldnt even qualify to be a keeper. I caught one on a wacky rigged tiki stik, wave fishing's version of the senko, and the other with a texas rigged power worm from culprit. I have tried both of those in my neighborhood ponds, local resivors, rivers, lakes. I have tried rattle traps, topwater frogs, jigs, plugs, super spook jrs, crank baits. But have only caught two fish. I am fishing them all slow, and i am trying different techniques. am i missing something here? any advice would be great. Thanks

Your not doing anything wrong. It's still cold water here in the NE, so you won't fill the boat up like in June,July. Thats fishing. I've done tournaments on good friday with 10 guys and 5 fish boated all day. You need to work riff raff or northern shores where the waters warmer.

Happy Easter Enjoy..Hi Edgy 779,I red your post and noticed you mentioned a power worm from culprit....Are you sure your not using a mark off,the original power worms are made by berkely, get the reall stuff, could be there are no bass at the moment, but try again with the reall stuff.Sometimes bass pro has bags of power worms which have torn, you know you get a really good discount this way.I got my 10"100 ct of power worms for only 20 because of this.I'm really cheap so I look for deals. My tackle is cheap, but my bass are priceless lol.
P.S. I only pay top dollar for my fishing line and have one all star rod I paid 60 for,the rest are cheap, but still..they work for me.This year I plan to catch some nice bass on my cheap rods so you can see, plus I'm out of this years competition anyway so I'm just gonna have fun with my light action cheap $8 rods.
line is the most important part of my fishing aresenal

Oh sorry, it isnt a powerworm but it is very similar. But the day after i posted this i went fishing and had 4 hookups but lost all 4 in the weeds :/ they are biting but they are still a little slow. I was using a gander mountain's version of the senko texas rigged weightless. So i guess they like that right now. I noticed alot by the banks and they were also chasing blue gill.
