LAKES CADDILAC AND MITCHEL
#1
I HAVE A COWORKER THAT LIVES N THE AREA AND HE SAID THAT THE LAKES WERE ALMOST FISHED OUT AND THE D.N.R. WAS CONCIDERING PLANTING SOME FISH THERE .

I'M NOT SURE IF IT WOULD DO ANY GOOD OR NOT FOR SOME ORGINISATIONS TO REQUEST SOME CERTIN SPECIES THERE , BUT IT MIGHT BE WORTH A SHOT .

HAVING YOUR GROUP REPLY TO THIS LINK ON ANOTHER ONE OF OUR FORUMS MIGHT HELP . HE CAN GET YOUR OPINIONS ADDRESSED TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE .

back in the days of old , you know when we were kids . walleye were considered a trash fish , borderline carp status . when the jumbo perch disapeared from unregulated netting by the indiginous americans our sportsmen suplemented the jumbo perch with walleye .

it was not uncomon to catch the true jumbo pearch in lengths of over 20" .not many were ever stuffed or mounted as they were a food fish so any surviving mounts are priceless !

funny , fiftey years or so ago , stergon and walleyes were trash fish , now highley sought after as a game fish . now there carp and catfish tourneys , hey if it gets to gobies being a sportfish i'm burning my fishing rods !
