Like I mentioned before, I am from cambria county. I started fishing some local ponds and reservoirs for bass and doing OK. They are not too aggresive yet, but definitely chasing some lures. I have been doing well on rubber worms rigged wacky style. The panfish are becoming aggressive though and even chasing the wacky worms and grabbing the tail at times.
Planning on heading out today or tomorrow for some Delayed Harvest Trout. Gotta make sure all of the tackle is in good condition for the start of the season.
Things seem to be on the up and up and looking forward to the first day of trout this Saturday.
