Took off work today and had about 4 hours to kill so I took the wife out for a while. Tough day slow bite caught one about 3.5lbs and a 14 inch crappie on a crankbait. Wife had one on and lost it. We looked at a lot of shallow water at the back of some coves but didnt see a lot of bass doing much bedding one or two here and there, and really skiddish. Weather was a little cool early but beautiful overall.
