Gator, Chick, Crappie, 4/9/12, Solo

Today was suppose to be a day to catch some spawning crappie, however I never did find any spawners in the few areas I know "should" be spawning areas. emoBang <br />So, I did the only thing I could think of that might catch some fish and that's shoot some docks and fish blow-downs. That worked but most fish were not keeper size, actually most were under 9".<br />I fished water from 2 to 15 ft. deep with 1/32 and 1/16 oz heads on BG's and Stubby Butts. The color didn't seem to matter much today. I fished from 8:30 until about 2:30 or so and finished the day with 46 crappie, all released to fight another day. Water temp in lower 70's when I finished. Sorry but no pics today. emoBig emoGeezer
