Anyone know what time you can get in at Jordanelle to launch a boat?

Hi,
It seems to depend. I've been there at 5:30 am before and had it closed. Then again, I've been there at 4:30 am and had it open. I believe the "official" park opening time is 6 am, but it really seems to depend on the ranger. HTH, Fred K.

Not to hijack your thread 300wins, but speaking of Jordanelle....does anyone know if there is public access to the shoreline north of the State Park entrance? I know there are roads and buildings, but is any of it private between the highway and the shoreline?

[#0000ff]In former times it was possible to hike down the old highway to the water and launch a float tube...or to access the ice during the winter. Sadly that area is all fenced off and under private control. No free lunches at Jordanelle.[/#0000ff]
