To the guys who have been to the Berry last week...

Think the ice will be off by next Friday and launch a boat?

I would think that you'll find enough open water to launch and enjoy yourself by next Friday.

Might still be some ice in places though. I say go for it.[Wink]

BFT's Irwinfletcher and I were up there today again. No snow accumulated, even though it was cold. It was 35 degrees when we left at 7 pm. There was more open water than on Monday. Significantly more. There is still not a ton of open water, though.

My best guess.... lake totally clear in a week and a half. Probably you could get around almost everywhere next Friday.

Bryants Fork was pretty open today. The fish were very active and aggressive. Crawdad flies and wooly buggers in purple and black were the ticket.
