#1
im a big pond fisherman myself due to any lakes or rivers being close by. weve had a cold front moving through for awhile an when i get a nice enough day, i go out to one of my normal ponds. i have not been getting even a bite. ive tried cranks, spinnerbaits, plastics, jigs. i just cant get anything to even nibble. am i missing something to try?

Try to remember that 90% of the fish are in 10% of the pond. Look for rocks, stumps, blowdowns.weedlines ect. Anything that is different and work those areas.

Give senkos or any other brand stick baits. Try them texas rigged weightless, and wacky rigged, also weightless.

try the Rattlin Chug Bug in Chrome and blue. pop pop pop.....esp in shallows near cover. Love that lure! never lets me down. I use it all spring, summer and fall. get both sizes.
