Just want to thank everyone for their tips on what to get for my "LMB Starter Kit" One day I will own a boat but for now I gotta stick to the shoreline...Most people are saying they have caught LMB at pretty much every boat harbor...my question now is what are the best times to catch them...time of day, weather conditions...etc. Love BFT!!!! Thanks in advance...
Also just a side note...I was by Highland Glen Park yesterday afternoon....green and yellow super dooper...couldn't keep them off the line...not very big fish, rainbows by the way, released em all, but if you have little ones you need to get excited for fishing...there is my two cents!

rookie mistake...i'll edit my post for the type of fish, I wish they were Bass, they were just little rainbows...I had a skunk I needed off my back so I didn't really try for Bass, but I think my next trip there will be dedicated to bass hunting!!!

Great job on the trout.
If I may make one suggestion on fishinh in Utah Lake. With the water level on the lake back down it will open up alot of areas to where you can wade out and fish many more areas than just standing on the shoreline at one of the harbors. I was down last week fishing on the north side of the Lindon boat harbor and I could wade out to about a hundred yards from the edge of the weed line and there were a ton of places to fish before it got to deep for my waders.
Just a thought.

GeOp,
You didn't make a rookie mistake, you clearly stated in your first post they were all rainbows.
Good luck on the LMB.

One big thing that makes bass fishing more fun and better is to take a picture and release them back so you can catch them another time...
