hemenway harbor 4/25

[cool] Got back on the lake today. we hit hemenway about 3 pm chummed the area up I started tossing the 3 inch storm wildeye shad on the second cast, Hook up. got it in nice little 1lber in to the creel it goes, a few minutes go by and down goes the other rod with anchovies on the bottom, hook up nice fish on wrapped me in the submerged brush and broke em off. retie, chum some more about 30 mins pass down goes the rod again this time I horsed him up out of the deep brush nice 21 incher. into the creel it goes, an hour goes by I get bored so I start tossing corn for carp, boom fish on and its a heavy one I couldn't budge it, and in one strong pull and snap goes the 12 lb test. another hour goes by and bored, I retie the storm wildeye shad cast out boom fish on again, a decent fat 18 incher into the creel with it. that was about it for the day not bad for 3 hours of fishing. water was like glass, overcast skies, and warm. great day out on the lake!! side note: one guy left there as we were getting there with at least 10 nice stripers he was using cut herring on the bottom. another guy to the right of us got one and another guy to the left of us got one too.[fishon]

Nice catch! It was a nice day on the lake for sure. I hope we get a few more days like yesterday before it turns into an oven.
