Bear lake???
#1
I'm going to bear lake on June 1st and I'm Gona be on randavue beach and I was wondering any good flies, ect for flyfishing that are because I want to catch carps, kitties, mountain whites, perch and trout there. Idk what to use because I never fly fished over there so idk what to use.

When ever I go to bear lake I usually regular fish with worm and bober on a regular rod and catch tons of huge carp and I want one on my fly rod this summer. Smile

I have tried to catch carp on the fly rod before up at bl as well. the only thing i got them to take was a black woolly bugger. I could see them so i just set in in front right on the bottom and they would suck it up. That about all the help i can be. Maybe you could try putting a worm on the fly line with an indicator, sort of like nymphying.

Or just take a spinning outfit if you want to use a worm. You want to catch one with a fly rod, I would hope you are using a fly, or it is just a long spinning/bait rod.
Try glo-bugs. Right in front of them like pepem and the bugger.
