Be aware that they are ticketing tresspassers on the private property even if you are in side the fences below the old utah bridge or croneys area. Look for signes and painted fence posts. You must be in the water to be leagle.

Up there the gras (vegitation) goes right to the water there really is no area in between!

That area doesn't get a lot of "high water" so the banks are right up to the river.

It is really too bad. The South East Fly Fishers raised the money and did the work to build the exclusion fence along there. They had an agreement with the land owner for access that they thought was for longer. Unfortunately this is a new owner who has disputed that, so now you have to stay in the river on the section that is posted. Some parts are very hard to wade because of silt and depth.
Hopefully something can be worked out with the owners.

The owners say that they dont like the fences running through ther camp ground and it makes it hard for kids to fly cast without catching the fence on their backcast! They also like the privatcy now they dont have people walking through camp at all times of the day!!
