Friday was a Cat day.
#1
I went to Dog creek to see if I could catch some of the cats I tagged last year. They were small and I wanted to see if they grew much last year. I caught a couple of small ones but not the ones I tagged. The water is still cold at 57 degrees. Maybe I will find the tagged ones next time. Ron

Last year the F&G wanted to do a harvest study. They asked me to help them. I told them where to place the nets and what to bait it with. They had the largest catch ever. The problem was they didn't get enough for the study. So they asked me how long it would take me to do it with rod and reel. So I did it with a rod and reel. "Michael" idahopanfish, helped me one day to finish up the project., It took me three days to catch about 40 cats and Michael caught 15 I think. If you look on back posts you can see the full story. Bronco here is the first post. It was fun and I wish I would have had more time I would have done more. My Daughter was getting married and I was out of time. Michael bailed me out of a tight spot. Without him I would have had to do one more day and I didn't have one more day to spare. Here it is. Ron
