Utah Lake festival June 2nd.

I got this today and figured I'd pass it along. It might be especially fun for the kids.



Get to Know Utah Lake
Saturday, June 2, 2012 / 10 am-2 pm
Utah Lake State Park
ENTRANCE IS FREE

• Free food: hot dogs and popcorn (food also available
to purchase)
• Live music by Sarah Sample
• Kids crafts, storytelling, balloon artist and games
• Free fishing day with free fishing poles and bait available
to use at the Festival that day
• Fishing instructions with local experts and a
fishing simulator
• Boat rides sponsored by Cross Marine Projects
• Boat making demonstration
• Sailboat regatta
• Hay rides
• Water equipment rentals (kayaks, jet skis, paddle boats, etc.)
The Festival, which is free, offers attendees a chance to get
outside and enjoy Utah Lake, experience its many recreational
opportunities and offerings, and learn about the lake’s
ecosystem, native species, and the importance
of stewardship.
