Me and my lady hit the water about 645 this morning for a little topwater fishing back on some shallow flats in wolftever, the first spot we pulled up to I had 2 keepers (about 2 1/2) a piece in the boat withing 30 minutes..thought we were going to tear them up all morning...the bass were loving that spittin' image, Ashleigh was hooked a nice one and got it right to the boat when it snapped the line emoBang, i dove for it trying to salvage the lure but no luck:/ at about 930 the bite turned off completely.. moved to deeper water and tried some watermelon texas rig but had no luck with that either so we called it a day around 10... not a bad morning with wifey!! ill add pics later
