Deer Creek tips?
#1
Anyone care to share any tips for catching eyes at Deer Creek tomorrow? I will be in a boat and willing to try anything.
Thanks in advance, Shane

Sorry, no tips on the eyes, but a tip just the same. Fill up at the Gas Station just as you enter Heber from the north. I think it is a Maverick. $3.40 last week.
Sorry for the Hi-Jack but thought everyone could use a little gas savings specially when fueling a boat too.

Hey Joni this is Glen up in Heber ( Pikeman) Just to give you a heads up about Mavericks gas why it is so cheap. 2 weeks ago the diesel got pumped into the gas. They are still paying claims. It's a mess. However Smiths across the street is usually the same price and they have good gas. Just one more good reason why I have never bought fuel from Maverick.

As for a tip on deer creek and eye's. The water temp. is getting just about right for them to do a little feed. Throw a few of those things they call maniacs in crawdad color on the track side. Good luck

Gas was 3.56 at 4:30 A.M. Saturday 5/18/12

Alot of the time Maverik and Smiths in Heber are cheaper that most of Salt Lake.

That has been the case for a couple of years. Funny thing is Heber use to be about ten cents or more higher.
