Kokanee at East Canyon...???

According to Utah Fishing Info, and the contour map of East Canyon that I bought at Sportsman's Warehouse as well, East Canyon has kokanee...?? http://www.utahfishinginfo.com/utahlakes/eastcanyon.php

Really?? I've never heard of East Canyon being a koke fishery. Anyone have any futher info??

Yes, they planted kokanee in East canyon, many years ago and they did ok for a while but it has been a number of years since anyone has caught one. There is a slight chance there are a few still in the lake but I kind of doubt it.

I caught many limits of kokes thru the ice winter 2010, but I couldn't catch a cold thru the ice in 2011. I don't know what happened.
