My boys caught a few tourny fish

I fish a tuesday night 3 hour tournament on watts bar when I can and have been able to win a few of them so far this year with my dad. I told him we were taking my 2 boys and spitting up when they got out of school, so last night they were ready to go. I took my youngest one Bryse and we hit some drops w/ plastic (mostly shakeyhead). I had a good fish over 5 break me at the boat before we could net and had another big fish just pull off. Bryse had a 3+ lber jump off on him and then he stuck another 3 lber a few casts later that we managed to boat. That was about it for us. Had the fish on to win, just could not get them in the boat. My oldest son Riley went with my dad and hit a drop throwing the same thing we were using and my phone rang about 8:00. It was Riley pumped up about a fish he just put in the boat. He said he thought she would go 6 lbs and sure enough she did. They could not limit out with their fish either, only managed one more keeper to go with it, but he did win big fish and so far the biggest fish weighed in for the year in that tournament. Took 10+ to win. Had around 25 boats show up despite the storms rolling around. What few fish we had together came off drops from about 10' to about 25'. Riley has won big smallmouth this year so far and now big largemouth.
