Im trying to decide where to try fishing Saturday. Some reports show they are catching crappie in powder river ARM, and brownlee river arm..
Anybody been there who can post or pm me? CJ reports have been less promising..... Guess I could always get a one day Oregon license and hit owyhee

From what I read on Oregon message boards the crappie fishing is terrible. The crappie guide in Richland is struggling to get his clients 15 fish a day. He has refunded over $2500 in upcoming trip fees due to the poor fishing.

We caught a few large ones out of Woodhead last Thursday. Didn't get a bite the next 3 days. They were suspended about 20 feet down off the points. Went up Powder River Arm for free fishing weekend and didn't get a bite there either. Could have been partly caused by the storm fronts rolling in. Might be great now that it's warmed up again.
Bass fishing was pretty good though.
