pocatello fishing and hunting ?

I live in logan ut. I have an opportunity to take a job in pocatello. I fish almost every day, and hunt just as much.. Just wanted to see what the fishing and hunting is like up there... I would appreciate any response i can get.

You will like it here then. There are nearly 100 bodies of water to fish within 1.5 hour drive, you are within 2.5 hours of some of the best fly fishing in the country. The hunting opportunities are here as well, big game, small game, varmints, upland, waterfowl, you name it. There is no lack of opportunity to explore your hunting and fishing desires here.

Just to echo what RD said, there is a little bit of everything within striking distance from poky as long as you're willing to spend the time figuring places out you can shoot/catch anything that you set your mind to.

+1 to every thing.. I live in lava but its only 30 min from pocatello. if you like to hunt coyotes I could show you some prime spots for them... as there are 5 spots within 40 min of pocatello that have a ton of them... and if you need help getting into the shooting range there in pocatello I can get you the info to get a card..

Not too much in Pocatello itself, but if you are willing to drive, there are lots of places within a half hour to 1 1/2 hrs away.
