Did an afternoon float yesterday w/ my dad and son. Beautiful day! Not too much wind most the time. Fish weren't real cooperative though. About 2/3 of the way through the float finally figured out that they would chase and often hit if we were casting spinners while the boat was drifting. If we stopped or threw flies they really didn't seem interested at all though. Either way most were striking pretty short though. In all we landed 6 and lost probly double that. Had a couple lost that were good size and may have been big enough to be keepers if landed, but couldn't keep them on. Fun time was had by all though!

FishingRookie and I were up a couple of miles from the campground on warm river last week, it was a little slower but still fun. We were trying to entice them to hit dry flies. I think between the two of us we got a dozen or so in an afternoon. The fun part was seeing three different varieties: rainbows, browns, and a brookie.

Too bad on the low catching, but good report. I bet it felt good to just get out on the river. Thanks for sharing, both of you.

Fished below Bear Gulch for a couple of hours on the 18th. A few small rainbows, but nothing to brag about.
