Jerry and I had no plan, we just went fish'in! Neither of us had not caught squat or put together any pattern in three weeks. We were boat no. 6 and blasted off according to my H'bird clock at 6:03 am. In our first 7 cast we had three keeper fish! Three in the well at 6:15 am. We might have used a pint of gas all day. We fished a small ledge / drop the entire day. We caught about 15 fish, culled 4 times for our monsterous 10.34 lbs. bag. It was a slow grind all day. We threw Tn. rigs, deep cranks, swim baits, jigs, C rigs, and Tx. rig worms. All our fish were caught on a jig, C rig or Tx. rig. The fish were caught in 12 / 22 fow. And of course we were once again haunted by loosing another good fish, a 5lber or so. Jerry had her on a Crig and she just came up, jumped and unbuttoned!? Jerry is really excited and looking forward to the night Tx. next month. Se 'ya then!
