Mid Day Largemouth

Just looking for some opinions here? Dont have a boat, so should I cast out towards the center of the lake with either a crankbait or plastic worms and some weights?

Midday in summer I'm looking for deep water or working the shade. Docks,weeds are where you'll find me. I would try both and see what they want.
