Had a pretty good day at the bay but the fish were super skinny. Hold them up to the sun light and you could see right though. HAHA.

Did you guys catch anything out of the boils? We saw one right by the boat on saturday morning, casted a couple lures into it but no love was shown.

We didn't get anything casting into the boils but we got four nice wiper trolling worm harnesses through the area where all the boils were happening.

The boils are smaller fish from what we seen, the bigger fish are deeper under the boils (wipers, cats and walleyes) the shad in the boils are very very small unless you try something as small it the fish in the boils don't pay much attention to it.. The Shad will grow fast and the boils will get much better with bigger wipers.......

Good luck

P.S A person with a small fly in a minnow pattern could do good in the boils rite now but the better be fast as the boils only last 10 to 20 sec....

Not the ones we saw, we had a couple boils come up right around our boat and there were some really good sized wiper cruising the surface and jumping. But like you said we did get all our bites down deep.
