[fishin]
I hit the Payette pond this morning, had a hook in the water by 630. I saw a few others try the pond, and no one got anything to reel in, that I saw. Made me feel a little better about my 1 crappie & 2 bluegill I had in the bucket by 10, lol!
They were biting like crazy until it started getting hot, they would eat anything I put out there, except the hook. I think they were using a knife & fork to carve the bait off the hook... I wonder if Berkley baits have any nutrition value for them?
Got one with crappie nibbles, and the other two with a wooley bugger.
After it got hot, I switched to bass lures. I could see the bass going after every lure I used. There'd be 3, 4, sometimes 5 fish chasing my lure, but they just wouldn't bite the darn thing. Finally gave up around 1pm.
The little guy in the middle was making a run for the sink while I went after the camera, lol!
