Another U.L. report (late)

Went down to AF boat harbor to fish for a bit on Friday. Managed about 9 white bass a bunch of mudders which were huge. I cant believe the size of the mud cats this year. Finally caught a few channels. Most were the 17-18 in size but caught one at about 27 inches and we lost one at shore that was bigger. There were enough tugs to keep things from getting boring but it wasnt fast. Couldnt get them to love my jigs and ditto for spinners. The channel cats all took white bass meat. Most of the white bass also jumped on the white bass. Several small white bass were caught and a couple decided to become bait. All in all wasnt a bad way to spend a morning.

Thanks for posting your report FFM2. That 27 incher sounds like a good cat what time of the morning did you catch it?

The mud cats were active early. The channels didnt start till mid morning . We left around noon and they were still biting well then.
