Went and did some shore fishing with a couple buddies yesterday at Willard. We caught quite a few dink wipers around 10-12". Also mixed in a perch, bluegill, baby bass and a good sized carp. Not the most amazing day but It was a fun morning with friends. The carp was the only fish that was picture worthy. The bugs weren't to bad. We fished from around 7am-10am.

Ya don't hear that every day! (just teasing) I presume you based that on size. Don't hear of a lot of smaller wipers caught. Maybe that's a good sign? Up-n-coming?
Seen any boilage chasing action?
I always get a kick out of a multi-species day. Means either you're doing one thing right, or lots of different things that are working too.

What? You didn't think that carp was sexy as hell? Haha!
I kept wanting to get a picture of a wiper but I kept telling myself to wait for a big one and it never happened.. It was my first wiper experience so I had good time away. It was definitely exciting.. Even the smaller ones put up a good fight.I didn't see any of the infamous boils. I hope to go again soon. Hopefully in a boat someday..hint..hint... Ive over looked willard for so long because im not a big fan of shore fishing and im to cheap to pay to launch my toon. But now that I got a taste for it ill probably take my pontoon next time.
