Made my own and it is working great for the most part. I am using a brown bag for the filter on the bottom of the paint cups and they are all secured in the same fashion. Trying to make a cup for each color so I don't have to dump back in the jar before I can paint with another color.
Two of the cups aren't allowing the paint to rise at all and two of them are giving me volcanoes. I'm not sure if anyone else has built their own, but I was looking for some insight into why these cups might not be working.
My possible culprits are:
Bad part of the bag
Not a secure seal all the way around
Cup not sealing in the air chamber properly.
I know different colors can take different amounts of air, so I tried colors I have already used and they didn't work in the bad cups either.
