Last trip for a while...
#1
I'm going in Tuesday for an MRI on my knee, I'm suspecting surgery as it's messed up pretty bad. Gravity got the best of me, [frown]. I had to get in one last trip to the honey hole before I'm out for the season and it was well worth the trip despite the pain. I lost count on how many largies we boated but it was the two that broke my 15# fluoro that haunt me. It was an awesome morning topwater bite, flippin' the bird, G-Splash, 10" senko type baits with a curly tail and home made jigs were the ticket. No love on the spinner baits to my surprise.
I apologize about editing the pics, I wish I didn't have to do it but where I'm from they don't stock bass, they are put in there once and it's up to the bass to survive by themselves after that and we have short growing seasons. I don't want anybody eating my friends so on some waters I'm very protective. I had a good time.

What a way to end the season, no matter what the reason. Those are some large fish. Good luck on the surgery.

Sprained ACL and Petellar tendon, no surgery needed-whoo! I bought compression sleeves for my ankle and knee that match the boat heehee. I'm certainly not going to be 100% anytime soon but I'm on the road to recovery. Hopefully I'm good by elk season.
