21XD, Gulf of Mexico, San Carlos Bay and Estero Bay, Speckled trout, flounder, snook, 8/8/12, Capta

Fished with Captain Bill Curtis (http://www.captainbillcurtis.com/) while on vacation in the Fort Myers, FL area. It was an awesome experience. We tried drifting for tarpon but because it is early August it is too late for the spring migration and too early for the fall. This would prove to be OK because that put us into the back country were we caught snook, flounder and speckled trout. At one spot it was just about a fish a cast!!! On the way to the back country dolphins were jumping in the wake of the 19' Mako! It is an incredible experience to be sitting on a seat at the transom of a boat underway and have a 6' long bottle nosed dolphin jump and land 2' from you!
Bill knows there area like the back of his hand and everywhere he took us we caught fish. One of the better days I've had on the water.
