Like everyone else, we started in the grass. Bites were few. While positioning the boat with the trolling motor, I got my first bite of the evening as my worm was being dragged through the grass. A 2.75 lber. It would be hours before we landed another. We fished a variety of plastics and managed to catch 2 more keepers, our biggest just 10 minutes before the tournament ended. We finished with 8.25 lbs.
Glad to hear Hippi97 was okay. I'm the type that stays on the water during a storm. Perhaps it's time to rethink my idiocy.
All of our fish were caught around grass in 10 feet of water or less. Zoom Vibra Tail Worms and Berkley Power Worms were the plastics of choice.
