FINALLY got a good morning of topwater. caught them until about 10 on top and then switched to cranks and plastics. took a friend who doesnt fish much and he had "the best day of the year". we ended up with about 100 with a 2lb large and 2 lb smallie.ANOTHER strike tourney where all but 2 went to the bruneau so i stayed out. some water was 80 and some was 72. want to go to brownlee but i hear they are all small and owhyee sucks.

Nice, how many days did you put in to get those three hours of bliss?

Winds were awesome today. I should have went in my buddies bass boat but we floated in small pontoons below the dam. I have been waiting a while for a calm day to do top water. I am glad it worked out for you today. Thanks for the report.

awesome question because seeing them blow it up is the best and you wait everytime until now for topwater. lets see probably 25 3/4 day trips and a few december januarys on the water also.caught about 10 on a trip in june at brownlee and thought here we go but strike hasnt been ready for it or wind blowing
