FIRESTONE, Colo. - St. Vrain State Park offers high quality recreation and great educational programs. Through the interpretive programs, made possible by funding from the Colorado Lottery and Great Outdoors Colorado, St. Vrain provides 45 educational programs related to the natural and cultural resources of St. Vrain State Park. Get to know the park, and naturalist Sarah Olsen, with these hands-on programs happening all summer!

Full Moon Hike - Camper Services Building - 9 p.m.<br />
Enjoy a nighttime nature hike around Pelican Pond lit by the blue moon! Learn about the different phases of the moon, and what makes this full moon a blue moon! An alternative program to be held indoors in the event of cloudy skies

Jr. Ranger Program - Camper Services Building - 11 a.m.<br />
Check out our newest Junior Ranger Program. Learn what it takes to become a Junior Ranger, and participate in fun outdoor games to get started. Complete your handbook to earn a badge!
Web of Life - Camper Services Building - 3 p.m.<br />
Learn how all life is connected, and some specific examples of food chains and food webs of Colorado in this exciting hands-on class!

Art Hour - Camper Services Building - 11 a.m.<br />
Join St. Vrain State Park for an hour of art projects, and express your creativity through the beauty of nature!
Team Building: The Nature Way! - Camper Services Building - 3 p.m.<br />
Learn how to work together with activities inspired by nature!
Programs are free with admission to the park, $7 per day or $70 for an annual pass. All ages and abilities are welcome. Visitors are asked to please dress in weather-appropriate clothing, bring plenty of water, sunscreen and bug spray, and be prepared to spend about an hour outside. No reservations needed.
