Fly Tying Meet

I know we've talked about doing this for some time now. I think we should finally stop talking about doing it and actually get a few of us together and tie some stuff! Tuesdays and Thursdays are out for me, but any other night or weekend.

I was thinking about sometime in mid November. Give people some time to respond and figure out the details of where we can hold it, etc.
I can't do this weekend, getting read for the 10 day trip to the Salmon for some Steelhead, and I'll be gone for the next 2 weekends after that so. Sometime after Nov 5th works for me. [signature]

So where's everyone from? I know Jay is from Ogden area, I'm in Syracuse. Do we have anyone down in SLC? Try to find a place in the middle to meet up.

Im in the ogden area, I work 7days on then get 7 days off and I work nights so if its on my off week Ill be down to go!

This is why we're planning in advance! Let us know what week you're off in the month of November and we'll find a date!
So looks like the center of all of us would be in the Davis county area, (farmington, Centerville). I'm thinking meeting up at a church or rec center would be the best if possible. Most open with floors that would be easy to clean up and tables and chairs to use. I unfortunately don't have the space in my house to setup 2 big card tables unless we all want to freeze our butt off in the garage. And my house is quite a ways west off the freeway. If anyone has a preference or hook up from someone that could get us access to a church gym somewhere around there, please chime in. Otherwise I'll see what I can do! [signature]

Thought I would bring this back up, Ive been really busy with school but it will be wrapping up in a couple of weeks, anybody still want to do this, I really would like to watch some others tie and learn more about tying, maybe next week sometime let me know.

That would work. I was talking with Joni about this, like Steve, I myself have been extremely busy with school and other crap lately. Tis the season right? I'm still definitely wanting to do this. I can ask my work if we can use the conference room. It's about half mile off I-15 in clearfield. Still not exactly sure where everyones coming from so. Right now there's two spots! Pick one or someone can offer up another!
