Lake Powell report
#1
We hit Bullfrog the 18th through the 20th. Fishing was poor! We fished it hard every day that we were there, Moki, Hansen, and a couple other canyons. Over those three days we only boated about 12 fish, 6 species, namely walleye, carp, catfish, LMB, SMB, and striper. I'm really surprised since the weather was so temperate. But despite the poor fishing, the lake continues to be my favorite place on earth! This was our first time to Bullfrog and the scenery was simply breath taking! Now I have to suffer through the winter before I'll make my next trek out there in May. Next time we'll be going back to Hite, IMO it has a lot more fishable areas!

No pics of a fish in one of the best lakes in Utah. What a shame.

Heres some of my LP pics from 2 years and maybe this will change your mind on taking pics of that place.[mad]

As far as fish go we didn't catch anything that picture worthy. My buddy caught one 3lb. striper that we took a pic of, but that's nothing new from powell. In may we took like 50 pics, all the fish were big, and the fishing was on fire from morning until night. This trip surprised me because I was expecting it to be like our may trip. I guess even powell has its slow times[frown]
