Hello all! Enjoy fishing in the great state of Michigan. Mostly smallies but I'll take what I can get. Only ice fished a few times but jumping into it this year.

Welcome to the site teamkozi. You are from Mi and have only ice fished a few times? Wow, what do you do during the Winter, lol. Hopefully we can help you get into this winter sport, that a lot of us love so much. Have you found the boards you are interested in, like our ice fishing board?

I hope to ice fishing quite a bit this year. I'm an avid snow skier (Ski Instructor and Ski Patroller) so I keep pretty busy during the winter months. I really enjoy fishing and have tried ice fishing a few times but really got hooked (no pun intented) after a tournament 2 years ago. I'm slowly adding things to my collection and really enjoy the homemade stuff. This site has a wealth of information. I'm sure you'll see me on here often.

If you are use to being out there in the cold anyway, then you are halfway there. We have a few guys on the site that like to combine skiing and ice fishing. They have been out already this year and one of them even iced a trout[].
