Limited Entry Buck
#1
I had several people ask me to post up a picture of my buck I killed on a limited entry hunt two weeks ago. 28.5" wide and a rough, preliminary score of 177". This was my first "rifle" killed deer in the 21 years I have hunted Utah. All others have been either bow or muzzleloaders. Taken at 301 yards with a .270, 130 gr bullets. Oh, forgot to mention the wind was blowing about 25mph right in my face.

Thanks for posting the pic Scott, a deer to be happy about that is for sure. Years ago, I dreamed of a 30" buck but today I'm thinking if I ever get one that nice, I would be a happy guy. Thanks for letting me get up there with you last week for the gill net survey, it was great and I learned a lot about what you do.

Very nice buck there Scott. Good mass, deep symetrical forks, eye guards and 28". It's the buck of my dreams. Congrats.
