I gave up on fly fishing the Provo last week when my son accidentally snapped the tip top off my fly rod. Oh well. Maybe it's fate. Be that as it may, I have been trying to slip away during my lunch hour to wet a hook for an hour or so. I was wondering if any of yall have had any luck from the shore at Deer Creek recently. No need to hot spot. I'm not trying to steal someone's spot, just want to get into a fish or two while not having to think about work for a bit. Any tips, PMs, etc. would be great. Thanks!

I haven't seen a ton of folks fishing from shore so I agree that the pressure is down. Last year I had a few decent trips before ice up. I only caught bows but the average size was around 16 inches and I took home a few 18 inch footballs. I love how the forage in DC turn those planter bows into footballs. I will keep at it. This year has been full of fishing withdrawal for me. I am grateful to just be outside wetting a hook for an hour or two at this point!
