Carl Guffey, Ft. Loudoun, black bass, 11/11/12, solo
#1
Finally got a break from work and got out for 2.5 hours about 2:00 pm. I tried several different approaches and finally found them on deep brush with a rig. If you hit the brush you got bit and often it was a violent thump. I wound up with 9 keepers and three pretty good ones, The brush I was working was from 18 to 24 ft. deep using traditional fall colors. Although it was a little windy it is hard to beat a warm, sunny November day.
