Had a nice afternoon on the water. Not a whole lot to report. The bass are about like they were. Scattered from 2 foot to deep water. Many seem to be heading for the deeper water. I still managed a couple very shallow in some of the old grass. I boated 12 bass this afternoon with the best one weighing in at 3 lbs and 5 ozes. Caught bass on three baits, the TN rig, a weightless swim and a shakey. Had a lot of missed blow ups. Lost one that appeared to be around 4.5 to 5 pounds. emoBang Got it to within about 10 feet from the boat and she just came off. I missed a couple more on the shakey also. Today a lot of them seem to be just slapping at the baits.<br /><br />Me and Derek are going back out in the morning. I hope we do as well or maybe a little better. emoAngel Jmax
