My Turn Fly Tying

I will be tying at Portneuf Outfitters in Pocatello this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. I hope many of you will be able to come and give me a hard time and Roger some support. Looking forward to seeing you there!

I'm looking forward to it. I would love to see your parasol flies as well as many others you use. I've learned a lot from the experts Rodger has come in to tie.

For those who haven't been, Rodger has a nice set up. There is a camera zoomed in on the vise, and two large monitors set up, so you can really see what is going on.

We sure have some great talent available to us in our area.

FG, it went well. Had a lot of fun, met some new and old friends and had a ball sharing a few patterns. I even picked up my new purchase for the year - a new Sharkskin line. Merry Christmas to me!

Ever use it before? I am so sold, I have it on 4, 5, 6. I prefer the GPX, but I have the Trout for my 4wt.

Roger convinced me the GPX was the way to go since I like to overline a bit. I can't wait to give it a go. I'm sure your GC is still safe and warm in the shop, but mine definitely went well towards the new line - WooHoo!
