Northern Utah Ice
#1
Any predictions for when Northern Utah lakes will freeze.
At this point I'm guessing mid Jan.

Man, this warm weather is really bumming me out.

Which lakes do you consider Northern Utah Lakes? Many of the higher elevation lakes in the Uintas are frozen now. Some of the smaller and shallower lakes in the Uinta Basin in northeast Utah are real close. Thin ice covered most of the lake at Pelican on tuesday Dec. 11. I also noticed on the Lakeview cam at Utah Lake that the Lindon Boat harbor had a thin layer of ice on it on 12/12/12. So depending on the lake, it won't be long. We just need another good cold snap for a few days.
