Northward bound?

Hoping to hit one or more of the Preston lakes before years end. Wondering if anyone's been up that way, or planning to go - could ya use an "ice buddy"?

Been reviewing some Idaho posts - and thinking Johnson for Gills, or Foster/Glendale for Perch. Just not sure what the roads in/out get to be.
Don't expect a problem getting to F/G - though Foster is probably a pretty fair hike down to water.

From people I have talked to that have either been there or talked with those that have, Deep Creek and Weston are doing fairly well also - Weston for the perch for you. []
