Polo if she is like my dog all you'd end up with is a hand full of feathers!

You are probably right!!! [Wink] I took her fishing last year with Fishboy2, we were throwing the casting net and catching shiners up at the berry. My dog was eating them faster than we could get them off the ground. I guess she is like her owner, has a passion for sushi!!!! She is a good dog, a black lab that thinks she is a human with same rights!!!!

Thats great, got a good laugh out of that! My big girl is an Ausie/Border mix and she rules the house, even gives you a load of crap when you've been gone too long. She'd probably try to herd all the salmon & trout in the spawning areas if I let her then eat the ones that don't mind!

Great report! I have been waiting for the bad weather to hit and need to get out. How do you get to Farmington Bay? I have not hunted for waterfowl for a couple of years. I have been to herald crane and bear river but live in Syracuse now and think Farmington Bay might be a shorter drive.

[#0000ff]By the way for anyone else that has a swan tag the Dwr surveyed 10,000 swan in the Bear River Bird Refuge monday in an air survey. The officer there said as of yesterday they have seen about 60 tagged in the last 2 days.[/#0000ff]

Happy Hunting!

ok the way to farmington for you is take the farmington exit on south bound I-15 go to stop sing turn right (west)go to next stop sign turn left (south)at next stop sign turn left(east) go about 300 yards or so and turn on the first street that you can right(south) and that is the gate (next to about 3 houses) it's a great shoot right now down there. the drw said there are a few swans in there but I didn't se any but like you said about bear river they are in there he said 64 swans though. if you want I could meet you down to farmington some time even if it's to point you the right way with or with out a boat.

[#400040]Thanks for the directions. I might have to meet you out there some time. I will be on foot, unless there is a big advantage to having a boat out there.[/#400040]
