Went to huntington Thursday arrived around 9 or so. Set out through maybe 2 1/2 feet of snow carrying the auger and tent. Stepped off the dam and immediately felt the cold rush of slushy freezing water all up over the top roof and into thhe boot. Nice. Drilled a couple holes and set the tent. While wading through a few inches of water and a few more inches of slush I managed 4 decent tigers and missed another. My buddy lost one and we called it around 3. Was windy and deep snow..expected no different but the slush ugh..the slush. All but one caught right off bbottom on shrimpos with wax worm..
