currant creek trip wierd fish

hello went out to currant creek Sunday and hit it hard and early. bout 6-7 inches of ice by the west side near dam. really slow compared to years past but i caught a nice tiger out of currant creek and a really weird rainbow

Thanks for the post- how were the roads? I caught a weird looking tiger up there this fall that had a curled down bottom lip, maybe there is some kind of mutation thing going on up there.

Road is plowed but snowpacked got up there in just a little truck without 4 wheel

Tigers end up getting a weird jaw with some frequency. I've seen it enough, and out of enough different places that believe it takes place in a certain percentage of their populations.

Then again, maybe it's just hard hooksets, then a release.
