Henry's Report that Wasn't

Had it all lined up to go to Henry's. Got the sonar charged. Rigged up my rods. 2 new jawjackers. Lined up 3 people that were interested in going today, in case one or two changed their mind. Two days ago one of them decided they were staying in Salt Lake for another couple days for family time. Yesterday another came down with bronchitis. Then I never could connect with the third to confirm or solidify anything. Was about to head out by myself anyway a little later but now the wife has decided since I'm going by myself it's too dangerous and pulled the it's a family day card (she won't go with). So I guess I'll have to wait until next winter to fish the hard deck at that amazing lake. Ok, I'm done with my pitty rant. I hope the rest of the BFTers are on the fish and having a good start to the new years!

I feel your pain my friend. Instead of yanking monster perch out of Cascade, I just watched the Barbie Princess movie in it's entirety. It was touch and go for awhile but SPOILER ALERT......everything worked out and the Royal Diamond Bush survived.[shocked]

Thanks for the thought windriver. I'm sure I would have loved fishing with you more than holding the couch down the other day. Hopefully like flygoddess said I'll get several more days to fish Henry's this coming year. []
